For families

Parent information

Everything you need for your child’s time with us — from daily routines to funding and policies.

We aim to provide a warm, supportive and transparent environment for all families. This section includes everything you need to know about your child’s time with us, from daily routines to important policies.

Settling in

We understand that starting a new setting can be a big step for both children and parents. We offer a gradual settling-in process, tailored to each child’s needs, to help them feel safe, secure and confident.

Daily routine

Our days are structured to provide a balance of child-led play and adult-guided activities. Children have access to a range of experiences both indoors and outdoors, supporting all areas of development.

What to bring

Please ensure your child has:

  • Weather-appropriate clothing (including a coat)
  • A named water bottle
  • Spare clothes
  • Any required nappies, wipes or comfort items

Meals and snacks

We promote healthy eating and provide nutritious snacks during both the morning and afternoon sessions.

Children attending the PM session are required to bring a healthy packed lunch for the lunchtime period. We kindly ask that packed lunches support a balanced diet and avoid items high in sugar.

Please inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements so we can support your child safely.

Communication

If you ever have questions or concerns, our team is always happy to help.

We believe strong partnerships with parents are key. We keep you updated through:

  • Daily feedback
  • Observations and progress updates
  • Regular communication via the Famly app, where you can view updates, messages, photos and important information about your child’s day
